Elayne is showverse, with maybe a bit of book stuff thrown in for flavor. Canon point is flexible. I read the books years ago, and I don't mind any spoilers for them, but my memory of them is very vague. I'm currently doing a (painfully slow) re-read, currently on The Great Hunt.
APPEARANCE; VISUAL: Elayne looks like a Real Life Disney Princess who had her flowing locks braided by singing bluebirds and her clothes sewn by enterprising mice.
AURAL: Just a nice posh British accent. Take a listen.
OLFACTORY: Elayne smells beautiful and perfect and floral... and probably just a teeny bit like the horrible wine she ferments under her bed.
DEMEANOR: One could easily be forgiven for thinking Elayne is haughty. Because she is, at least a little. But she also lights up like the sun at the first hint of anything to be happy about. She is soft and feminine and gentle and also never, ever takes no for an answer and has the same dogged obstinacy as a 900 year old oak tree that has survived a a million lightning storms.
